CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF?
My name is Marina Rose I am 20 years old and a former SoCal resident, now living with my hubby in the Pacific Northwest! I have a full time job of working with Jr High & High School students teaching them music, hanging out with them, and working along side of them as they discover who they are as individuals and musicians. I have a full time life of adventuring, road tripping, creating, and sharing with social media.
WHAT ARE YOUR ASPIRATIONS?
My aspirations are to inspire and empower girls to relentlessly pursue their dream jobs and encourage the realization that there is a place in the world for their passions. My current project is creating a space for creatives to come together and collaborate. I am a BIG believer in collaboration over competition and I aspire to inspire people to share that passion.
WHO ARE YOUR MUSIC AND FASHION INSPIRATIONS?
Ariana Grande is my biggest music inspiration, Vanessa Hudgens is my biggest fashion inspiration, and Gwen Stefani is definitely both. She’s a queen.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
The closest thing to my personal style is a mood ring for sure- Some days I wake up ready to be a street style queen and some days I wake up and I’m too down to be a glam goddess. For the most part I’m somewhere in between, wearing mules and a denim jacket with pretty much anything.
AS A KOLLECTIN STYLE STAR, HOW HAVE YOU BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN USING KOLLECTIN TO SHOW YOUR PERSONAL STYLE AND INFLUENCE OTHERS? WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT KOLLECTIN?
Personally I don’t remember that last piece of jewelry I’ve purchased that wasn’t from Kollectin. I love being able to honestly support such an amazing company. So being able to wear pieces that I absolutely love and share with my following is a win for me. I love feeling confident that others will have a great time shopping around the app and that they can find my favorite jewelry so easily!
YOU HAVE SUCH GREAT STYLE! WHAT JEWELRY TRENDS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO FOR THE SPRING?
Valentino FLEXED on the runway with those hoops in the spring/summer collection. So I’m super excited to jump on the bandwagon and pick some up from HoopCbyRaqC collection! Another fave of mine every spring is pastels and I will probably be rocking both this spring!
WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO PIECE OF KOLLECTIN JEWELRY?
My favorite go to piece is a battle between the Dasha Necklace (aka the best way to add a pop to any outfit) and the Zelda earring (because who doesn’t love a good sparkle?!).
YOUR PICTURES ON KOLLECTIN ARE STUNNING. DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS ON HOW TO GET THE PERFECT PICTURE?
2 years ago I NEVER would have expected to be in front of the camera instead of behind it so I definitely look to so many influencers for tips on how to work it for the camera. The things I found most useful are:
-Practice your angles in front of the mirror. You have to know yourself and what you think looks good!
-Keep moving! Sometimes you can look back and want to have placed your arm or your head differently so if you just keep moving you can avoid that!
-BE CONFIDENT. Some of my least favorite pictures are ones where I wasn't feeling myself, and it shows. Some of my faves are the ones where I owned my confidence.
WE ARE SUCH A BIG FAN AND WANT TO SEE MORE OF YOU! WHAT CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING FROM YOU IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
Definitely more content!
I just launched my blog and I hope to keep it as honest and consistent as I possibly can with some new travels and hopefully presets!
If I can keep up with that I might just launch a youtube channel too...
