HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW YOU?
Edgy Hipster. I love a trend, but I also die for vintage. I’ll wear an H&M blazer with thrifted cut-off jean shorts. I love the juxtaposition of trendy fast-fashion meets vintage and or designer.
DO YOU HAVE A STYLE STAPLE? SOMETHING THAT YOU THINK IS A CONSTANT IN YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
Skinny Jeans, leather jackets of all shades, silk scarfs, hats and booties
CAN YOU REMEMBER WHAT/WHO WERE YOUR EARLIEST STYLE INFLUENCES WERE IN CHILDHOOD THROUGH YOUR TEENAGE YEARS?
If I’m being honest, I would say my Mom, Gwen Stefani and Cher. Needless to say, I had a very eclectic childhood. Although each of these women had very different styles, they were true to themselves and I admired that. I also almost exclusively listened to 90s alternative growing up, so I think that played a part in my sense of style.
WHAT/WHO ARE YOUR INFLUENCES TODAY?
Instagram/ Pinterest are amazing resources if I’m looking for style inspiration. My current style icons are Leonie Hanne of the blog Ohhcouture and Ashley Brooke/itsashbrooke on Insta.
WHAT IS A TREND YOU’RE OBSESSED WITH?
Co-ords/two- piece sets, faux fur and monochromatic outfits
WHAT ABOUT GUILTY PLEASURES? A TREND YOU SECRETLY ADORE?
Dressed up biker shorts and anything futuristic chic - metallic prints, retro sunnies
HOW DOES JEWELRY PLAY IN TO YOUR STYLE AND YOUR STORY? WHAT ARE YOUR EARLIEST MEMORIES WITH JEWELRY?
My earliest memories are stacking antique rings and trying on brooches from my iconic grandmother. I am now obsessed with Art Deco inspired pieces. To go back a little further, my 2nd great grandmother was full Cherokee Native American. Since I can remember, I have been drawn to Sterling silver, Turquoise and Coral made with traditional Native American designs. While in my Fashion Merchandising Major in college, my admiration for all things accessories only grew.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE KOLLECTIN PIECES? WHY DO YOU LOVE THEM?
My favorite styles would have to be: The Winola Earrings, the texture and leopard touch is so beautiful. The Mikayla Earring, made with Faux fur and wood, makes it the cutest Fall accessory. I love wearing the Harpa Earrings to vamp up any casual outfit.
