Kollectin hosted its first ever Fashion Jewelry Pop-Up Night at the heart of Melrose last night! Hundred of Los Angeles Style Star Influencers joined us for a night of live entertainment, interactive jewelry experience, and fun!
During Pop-Up Night, exclusive invitees were introduced to new features on the Kollectin app, briefed on the benefits on being a part of our Style Star Influencer community, and got first- hand look at our upcoming VR features, and scored awesome swag bags with jewelry to boot!
Sorry we had to close the event RSVP list early due to oversubscribed demand, we'll be sure to source a far larger venue next time to accomodate all the interest! Please be sure to stay tuned to our next series of events monthly!
On June 21st emerging jewelry fashion app Kollectin will be kicking off its Pop-Up week by hosting an exclusive, invite-only party, where select tastemakers and style stars will come out to celebrate the girlfriend marketplace for style inspirations.
Technology is incredible, right? Well, that depends on who you ask. Historically, fashion and technology have had a complicated relationship. Due to the convenience of the Internet and social media, brick and mortar stores are increasingly closing shop, leaving creatives and designers out in the cold with nowhere to showcase and sell their work.
This is where Kollectin comes in. Kollectin aims to replace vanishing physical stores with digital jewelry boutiques run by designers and influencers also known as "Style Stars." Potential shop owners get to handpick the designs they sell in their digital shops and make them available to those in their network.
At the pop-up party, invited ladies will get the opportunity to acquaint themselves with Kollectin’s innovative platform, get started with opening their shops and have a good time with other ambitious women.
Each day of the Pop-Up week will feature a theme aimed at educating and empowering Girl Bosses. From Skin and Beauty workshops to an informational panel on ways to build passive income, Kollectin is hoping to motivate women everywhere to aspire to inspire.

We were super excited to watch our SheEO, Nadia on Good Morning LaLa Land, America's first daily live-stream morning talk show right here in Los Angeles (M-F 9am PST)! This entertaining show is hosted by amongst others, Kollectin's very own Style Star Jezlan Moyet!
On the segment, Nadia answers questions on her vision for Kollectin as a platform for influencers and women of influence, for them to inspire others to support fashion innovation.
Accessories Council hosted its annual designers studded ACE Awards for its members.
Kollectin's Co-Founder & CEO, Nadia Lee, and Director of Business Affairs, Mary Demircift had the privilege of attending in the celebration of all things fashion accessories for the year!
Some notable awards were industry veterans Sammy & Libby Edelman who took home Hall of Fame Award. Micaela Erlanger took home the Style Influencer Award for her styling vision with celebrities such as Lupitas. And Tracee Ellis Ross, who took home the Style Ambassador Award, made a passionate speech regarding the importance of working together in the era of digital disruptions (which is like, so Kollectin!).
It was an amazing night of wining and dining, while seeing great friends and making new ones! Here's a peak of the event. We can't wait to see everyone again there next year!
It was a “#girlboss thing” when the Asian Business Association held its Women Business Pioneers Symposium at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. In its mission to represent Asian American business owners and create business opportunities for its members and their diverse communities, the ABA wanted to provide an opportunity for hundreds of ladies to meet “women business pioneers” who have been making strides in their respective industries. Panelists included the likes of Health-Ade Kombucha chief sales officer Vanessa Dew, IDLogic founder/CEO Kelly Nguyen and Forensis Group founder/CEO Mercy Steenwyk.
Also on the panel of esteemed speakers was Kollectin’s co-founder, Nadia Lee. She had quite an inspiring story to share with young, aspiring businesswomen. Nadia had to overcome quite a few obstacles to get where she is today. From inexperience to lack of family support, Nadia used these roadblocks to motivate her and applied what she learned to her "fail" her way to the top. Today, through successful collaborations with vendors and a passion for creating, Nadia’s brands have only grown and expanded.
Those who came out to hear from Nadia and the other speakers received invaluable lessons from women who are winning in life and business. Admittedly, everyone walked away with a boost in confidence and more direction on their plans.
