HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW YOU?
Comfy with style!
DO YOU HAVE A STYLE STAPLE? SOMETHING THAT YOU THINK IS A CONSTANT IN YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
Yes, I love my leather jacket! In fact I love all things leather. I have 5 leather dresses, 2 pairs of leather pants and 4 leather jackets.
My first leather outfit was made by my mom back in 1998. It was a pair of high waisted Faux leather pants. And my first pair of leather boots were given to me by my momma when I was 10. They were gorgeous! Since then, I have been collecting all things leather including boots!
PS- did I forget to mention that I own 20 pairs of leather boots? (haha)
CAN YOU REMEMBER WHAT/WHO WERE YOUR EARLIEST STYLE INFLUENCES WERE IN CHILDHOOD THROUGH YOUR TEENAGE YEARS?
Vogue and my momma. My Mom is a Fashion Designer by trade and she designed for C&A and Mango's Spain my entire life. I was always exposed to her workshop and often used to make my own clothes at her manufacture. I would wrap my self in fabric from the latest collections and jump on her cutting table to perform a fashion show during the employees lunch break. I was actually their entertainment.
Fun Fact: I never read a book until high school. We only read Vogue and Bazaar at home. It was kind of silly!
WHAT/WHO ARE YOUR INFLUENCES TODAY?
I'm not one to be influenced easily, but I love Camila Coelho's style. She not only dresses like I would, but she is sweet, kind and smart. She is also... Brazilian! Check her out @camilacoelho
WHAT IS A TREND YOU’RE OBSESSED WITH?
I am really into the neon trend. Neon has been in and out for the past 8 years, but I think it's here to stay. I am also in love with street wear and athleisure. My favorite way to dress comfortable, but still be in style.
WHAT ABOUT GUILTY PLEASURES? A TREND YOU SECRETLY ADORE?
I love high waisted everything and long earrings!
HOW DOES JEWELRY PLAY IN TO YOUR STYLE AND YOUR STORY? WHAT ARE YOUR EARLIEST MEMORIES WITH JEWELRY?
I always loved jewelry, I started with large hoop earrings with my name across (remember those?) and started to wear all things jewelry. I love jewelry so much that it has been my main fashion expression and passion for over 10 years, and I made a career out of it!
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE KOLLECTIN PIECES? WHY DO YOU LOVE THEM?
OMG, you already know which ones are my fav! I got the entire office hooked on them! It's the Mia Earrings. And I've been wearing the Kayla Earrings all season.
